Plymouth County Correctional Facility

"Breaking the cycle of crime, one life at a time."

In February 1985, Danny was sentenced to the Plymouth County Jail. He served 2 years and it was in that jail where Danny put his trust in Jesus. He studied the Bible under Chaplain Bob Hanson while incarcerated and was discipled by Reverend Dennis Bauder for four years after his release.

During this time, Danny taught Sunday School classes at Boston Children's Hospital, ministered to mentally and physically handicapped child at Mass. Hospital, began the Christian Basketball Outreach League, and ministered to inmates in jails and prisons across the state.

In 1991, Danny went to Wheaton College and received his B.A. in Bible/Theology. He was ordained in July 1995, and became a full-time Chaplain with New Hope Correctional Ministry. On October 1, 1996, Danny began ministering in the Plymouth County Correctional Facility as Chaplain – the same place where he put his trust in Jesus nearly 20 years ago.

Ministries at PCCF include pastoral counseling, teaching and Bible study, making disciples who can minister to other inmates in their unit, and coordinating all religious services and pastoral visitations.

Danny and his wife, Kim, were married in 1989 and they have four children – Daniel, Thomas, Elizabeth, and Dara Jane.
