Dr. Chacha was born in Tanzania, and raised in Kenya, East Africa, in a place of chronic generational poverty.  He overcame many obstacles to become a highly successful, sought-after motivational speaker, teacher, and author.  In 1988, Dr. Chacha, along with his wife, Regina, and a small group of believers, established Teamwork Ministries International in Martinsville, Virginia. Their goal is to Train, Equip, And Mobilize leaders and believers worldwide for ministry.  

Since its inception, Teamwork has:

• established over 600 Bible schools on five continents and graduated over 10,000 students worldwide. 
• published more than 20 motivational books
• provided ministry tools such as: computers, generators, libraries, bicycles, sound equipment, financial support and training of Christian leaders internationally.
• provided relief efforts such as medical supplies, food, clothing and blankets.

Dr. Chacha has taught and ministered to thousands at evangelism crusades, conferences, seminars, colleges, and universities throughout  Europe, Asia, South America, the Caribbean, Africa, the United States, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East.

He is now working to answer a calling to help the children of Africa to build homes where children will be raised in a positive home environment. Dr. Chacha's desire is to see orphaned children given a chance to leave poverty and hopelessness behind and experience the love of a family setting—that vision is coming true in The City of Hope.  The City of Hope is a campus that is being built in Dr. Chacha’s home village of Ntagatcha, Tanzania.  Included in this project are a children’s home, a medical center, farmlands and a training center.  The City of Hope is being built as a model that can be reproduced in other areas of Africa in the future.  Dr. Chacha’s vision is to partner with local churches, business people, various organizations, and government agencies to provide homes for thousands of children.

Dr. Chacha lives in Martinsville, VA, with his wife (and business partner) Regina, and their six children.
