Media From Speech:

Richard Galloway has a diverse background in business which includes starting and operating a chain of convenience stores, banking, building a Christian TV station, starting a computer company and a commercial real estate business. In addition, he has planted a church in St. Thomas, USVI, built a Christian TV station in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and traveled extensively for speaking engagements, with a particular interest in discipling men.

In 1989, Richard and his wife Dixie founded New York City Relief, a front-line urban missions program which not only provides food and clothing for the urban homeless, but “connects” them from the street with life-changing Christian programs. In the past 18 years they have directly distributed 3,208,881 servings of food and drink to the hungry and homeless. They have also directly impacted the lives of 124,228 people by connecting them to help and hope. With an expanded team of urban missionaries, they have also been a part of establishing The Hope Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

They are both well-respected in their home church of Calvary Tabernacle in Cranford, New Jersey, where Richard serves as Elder, and have served in leadership in numerous capacities over the past ten years in the regional Church of greater New York City.

In addition, for over 10 years, they have traveled regularly to Ethiopia, where they have helped in establishing an orphanage serving this desperately needy area of the world.
