Ed Wohlwender has over 25 years of experience in leadership and management roles.  Since March of 2007, Ed has been President & CEO of a leading display solutions provider, POP Displays, headquartered in Yonkers, New York.  Ed started his career as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army after graduating from West Point.  His last assignment before leaving the service was at Fort Bragg, N.C., where he was a Jump Master and Logistics Officer for an Airborne Battalion.

Ed then completed an accelerated graduate degree program before he joined a large division of the Sara Lee Corporation. Over a seven-year period, Ed held various positions of leadership involved in systems implementations, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Planning, and Distribution.  Ed spent his last two years at Sara Lee as a Director of Logistics prior to joining Ernst & Young LLP, one of the five largest consulting practices in the USA, as a senior executive in their middle market practice.  Ed led numerous client engagements for E&Y focused on developing strategies and improving processes related to general business improvements and increased profitability.  Ed was hired by an E&Y client, Standard Register Company in Dayton, Ohio, to lead their Supply Chain Management organization, comprised of several functional areas including Quality, Purchasing, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, Customer Service & Sales Support, Warehousing, Distribution, Receivables, and Training comprised of over 1,500 associates.  Ed was most recently the Senior VP Operations Support for Technical Olympic, USA INC. a top-12 homebuilder in the United States, where he managed Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Process Development, Purchasing, and Investor Relations functional areas and was part of their capital allocation and executive committees. 

Ed lives in Tarrytown, NY with his wife Rosanne, a corporate library and information sciences professional.  Their son, Tom is a sophomore at Williams College where he plays football and is majoring in Political Economy.
